Levi has the Chicken Pox
June 2005 -- When Levi
went to stay with his cousins while Mom was in the hospital having brother
Calvin, Levi ended up having more than just a great time. The day that
Calvin was born, Darren came home from school with a fever. The next day
it was apparent that Darren had Chicken Pox.
Thirteen days later, Levi had his first spots. He has
had several fevers and been quite miserable at times (mostly in the middle of
the night), but he really has handled it quite well. He runs and plays and
has a great time most of the day. He is finally taking oatmeal baths and
enjoying them, and he likes to help put calamine lotion on his spots.
